Queensland is buzzing with excitement with the National Championships just around the corner to be held on the beautiful Gold Coast Sports Stadium, Carrara – 3rd & 4th of December

Martial art schools from all over Southeast Queensland, some having to travel a good 5 hours attended round 4 at Carrara Stadium, Gold Coast. The tournament proved to be an intense one, with all attending hoping to qualify for invitation to the 2011 State championship in October.

Round 3 Queensland NAS attracted 240 competitors, despite a flu epidemic that led to numerous late scratching from the field. Even six of the umpires were sidelined by the virus. Carrara Stadium, Gold Coast was a buzz of excitement with anticipation of the day's competition. Queensland NAS saw an incredible response from both near and far with many new styles attending for the first time.

28 different martial art schools attended round two at Carrara Sports Stadium with over 180 competitors from all over Southeast Queensland. There was a buzz of excitement with teams getting together warming-up, going over strategies with their coaches and over-coming nerves prior to competition

Queensland kicked off round 1 with good numbers of competitors traveling from as far away as Townsville, Toowoomba, Brisbane, North Coast and as far south as Lismore. Approximately 29 martial art schools turned up for an action packed day of competition at Carrara Indoor Sports stadium

Queensland is buzzing with excitement with the National Championships just around the corner....Queensland State team is looking forward to travelling to Sydney for a great National championship. Everyone also gearing up to win the Presidents cup for the second year running...Go Queensland!
