Achievements:
Mr Paul Mitchell has been involved in NAS since 2009, both as a competitor and a referee. This has given Paul the opportunity to understand the rules and regulations and assist other organisations through his own personal experience in NAS. Some of his own achievements are:
• 2009 – 2nd Place National Championship Veteran Forms - Melbourne
• 2010 – 2nd Place National Championship Veteran Forms – Sydney
• 2010 – Level 2 Referee & Judge
• 2011 – NSW Technical Director
Background:
Master Paul Mitchell began Taekwondo in 1978 and is now the Founder and Master Instructor of United Taekwondo which was established in 2006. Paul now operates 25 clubs around NSW / ACT / SA and an international branch in Tonga.
- Paul has dedicated himself to the betterment of others and has received nominations for Australian of the Year 2006, Pride of Australian Medal 2009 and recently Citizen of the Year 2010. He was inducted in to Australasian Martial Arts Hall of Fame (AMAHOF) 2008, Director (AMAHOF) 2009 and the Events Co-ordinator (AMAHOF) 2010, which was held in Sydney for the first time in 14yrs. Recently United Taekwondo has been awarded Best Educational Service in Australia in a National Champion Awards Presentation held in Sydney November 2010.
