Achiements:
Mr Bill Rogers has been involved in the NAS for over
10 years, both as a competitor and a judge. He has
been an active competitor over those years, so is
able to see refereeing and judging from “both
sides of the fence”. Some of his achievements
are:
1994 NAS National Championship finalist (fighting)
1996, 1998 NAS State Champion, veterans (fighting)
1996 WASO team – World Championships, Canada
2001 Kempo Ryu tournament – 2nd veterans (fighting)
NAS – Level 4 Referee and Judge
NAS – QLD Technical Director
Background:
Sensei Bill Rogers began his karate in 1990 as a
student of shihan James Casey, Chairman of Kenshinkan
International Karate. Kenshinkan International Karate
was derived from Kyokushin Karate.
A dedicated student, Bill has trained 6 days a week
for many years, obtaining his Shodan in 1994, Ni-dan
in 1998 and San-dan in 2002. Bill works very closely
with Shihan Casey, travelling from dojo to dojo helping
in the development of Kenshinkan International Karate.
